Dyeing and Finishing Operations
The Company’s flexible compliment of dyeing and finishing equipment allows for the production of delicate laces, commodity fabrics, novelty fabrics, and high performance fabrics at the Mohican Mills facility. Fabrics and laces are dyed in pressure and atmospheric beams, jets, becks, and “delicate” dye equipment.
These activities are directly supported by the Company’s in-house Color Laboratory where customers’ colors are analyzed and formulated.
Fabrics and laces are heat set on the Company’s tenter frames consisting of both Direct Fired frames for the processing of basic, stable fabrics, and Indirect Frames used for the heat-setting of spandex-content and other delicate fabrics.
